Fun-Spot lamps are entirely designed and manufactured in our factory in Italy using only premium-quality materials such as CREE LEDs, polyurethane resins, and gold-plated connection contacts. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and thanks to its versatility, it is suitable for lighting any type of rides.
The lamp body is made of nylon, while the methacrylate lid ensures maximum transparency and excellent resistance to UV radiation. Electrical connection is achieved through standard commercial wires, and installation is quick and secure thanks to the isolation drilling technique.
The Fun-Spot are available in two mechanical versions:
- Direct wire connection, offering an extremely compact design
- Frontal pull out (socket version) connection, designed for quick and easy lamp replacement
The Fun-Spot family includes five sizes, distinguished by their diameters: 32, 45, 60, 75, and 100 mm, and three operating modes: Plug & Play, Controllable Pixel (Pixel Enhanced) and Controllable SMART.
The number of LEDs ranges from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 60, depending on the lamp size. Each lamp is available with either RGB or single-colour LEDs.

Plug&Play
Fun-Led has been a pioneer of Plug&Play technology since the early 2000s. These lamps feature integrated electronics with internal programming, allowing them to operate without an external controller — they only require an AC power supply via a standard ferromagnetic transformer.
Versions with 20 LEDs, 30 LEDs and 60 LEDs are internally divided into sections called chipsets (each consisting of 10 LEDs), enabling dynamic and special light effects within the lamp itself.
A key feature of the Plug&Play mode is its large onboard memory capacity, which, combined with Fun-Led’s programming software, allows the creation of installations with numerous channels and impressive light choreographies — previously unimaginable for a Plug&Play system. Each lamp can be supplied pre-programmed with standard 8- or 16-channel sequences, or with fully customized programs.
An additional feature is the built-in temperature sensor, which automatically reduces brightness when the temperature exceeds a defined threshold. This function protects the LEDs from overheating, especially during daytime use or in high-temperature environments.
All Plug&Play lamps are available with RGB or single-colour LEDs and can be optionally equipped with the Super Strobe feature.
Controllable Pixel & Pixel Enhanced
Fun-Led adopts the UCS1903 protocol, based on a serial signal (SPI), to remotely control the lamps and manage the brightness and colour of each one. The lamps are not numbered, and their cascaded connection must follow a precise path based on the initial project.
Versions with 20 LEDs, 30 LEDs, and 60 LEDs are divided into internal sections called chipsets (each made up of 10 LEDs) to reproduce special light effects within the lamp itself. Lamps with 30 and 60 LEDs are only available in Pixel Enhanced mode.
The Enhanced mode ensure full compatibility with the UCS1903 protocol while adding flexibility, efficiency, and uniqueness. The same functions are integrated by default in the SMART operating mode.
Enhanced features include:
- Customizable Super Strobe, allowing control of intensity and frequency
- Thermal protection, limiting operation in high-temperature environments
- Emergency mode, which activates a programmable colour and intensity if no valid control signal is detected at startup — ensuring the attraction is never dark
Pixel Enhanced lamps can be controlled with any standard UCS1903-compatible controller, but their default parameters can be reprogrammed only with a Fun-Led controller. This operating mode requires a DC power supply and a controller board. Fun-Led offers various hardware and software solutions to manage and control its lamps effectively.
All Pixel lamps can be supplied with RGB or single-colour LEDs and equipped with the Super Strobe option.
The Base
Fun-Spot lamps feature a robust structure that houses the electronic board, which is resin-sealed to create a fully waterproof lighting fixture. The structure is made of Nylon 6 reinforced with white glass fibers, ensuring strength, stability, and resistance to all weather conditions and temperature variations. Upon request, the base can be supplied in different colours to match various design themes.
Two connection modes are available:
- Direct Wire – uses the isolation drilling technique for direct wire connection, offering a compact design and cost efficiency.
- Frontal Pull-Out (Socket Version) – employs a connector inserted into a lamp socket, allowing quick and easy lamp replacement.
In both versions, the contacts are made of brass, then nickel- and gold-plated to guarantee excellent conductivity and protection against oxidation. Four elastic hooks provide secure, quick, and stable fastening between the base and the lid, while two screws attach the assembly to the supporting frame. Both connection versions include polarization, allowing correct lamp orientation during installation.
The Socket
The D24 socket is the latest Fun-Led model, designed with a compact body that can feature two or four isolation drilling contacts. The socket cap pierces the wire insulation through the tightening of two screws, ensuring a safe and reliable electrical connection. Its compact design and polarized body help guarantee correct lamp orientation and secure installation.
The Lid
The lid is made of transparent methacrylate, providing excellent resistance to UV radiation and preventing yellowing over time. It offers superior protection against weather conditions and features a perfectly smooth outer surface, which prevents the accumulation of dust and dirt, making cleaning easy. The lid is pressure-mounted to the base for quick assembly.
The standard internal pattern is the Flower design, with additional options available upon request: Sphere, Frozen and Transparent.
